CSULB Engineering & Technology Career Fair — Thursday, September 17

5:00 – 8:00 p.m. | LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid, Cal State Long Beach, 1250 Bellflower Blvd.

Cal State Long Beach runs its engineering and technology fair in the Pyramid, which means a lot of employers under one roof and a lot of walking. The recruiting is aimed at engineering and tech majors for full-time roles, part-time roles and internships, and in this city that pulls in the Douglas Park crowd: the aerospace and advanced manufacturing shops that grew up on the old Boeing footprint next to the airport. The catch is the front door. This is a campus fair for CSULB students, not a public job fair, so if you are not enrolled, check with the CSULB Career Development Center before you drive over. An evening start time is unusual and it is a gift if you are already working days.

CSULB Fall Career & Internship Fair — Wednesday, October 7

12:00 – 4:00 p.m. | Central Quad, Cal State Long Beach, 1250 Bellflower Blvd.

Three weeks later the university opens the big one. The Fall Career & Internship Fair is campus-wide and all-majors, held outdoors in the Central Quad, and employers come recruiting for full-time jobs, part-time jobs and internships at the same time. Business, health, communications, liberal arts, sciences: the net is wide. Same eligibility caveat as September 17 — it is built for CSULB students, and the official event listing routes registration through the university's own student system. Community Employment Day Career Fair — Thursday, October 15

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | The Grand, 4101 E. Willow St.

Here is the public one, and it is the one most readers should circle. City Career Fair brings its Community Employment Day back to The Grand on East Willow, a few minutes from the Lakewood Boulevard interchange and easy to reach from Bixby Knolls, Signal Hill or North Long Beach. The organizer billed the 2025 edition as its 26th annual Long Beach fair, so this is a fixture, not a pop-up. The format is in-person meetings with recruiters across a four-hour window rather than a quick lap of a ballroom, and the organizer asks you to register in advance and send a resume ahead of time so they can line up who you meet. No admission price is posted on the official listing, so register through the organizer's official page and confirm what, if anything, you owe at the door.

Diversity Career Group Long Beach Job Fair — Thursday, October 22

Long Beach Marriott, 4700 Airport Plaza Dr.

One week after The Grand, Diversity Career Group runs its second Long Beach fair of 2026 at the Marriott on Airport Plaza Drive. DCG has been running in-person fairs since 1999 and says plainly on its own event page that its events are free to candidates, which is the answer to the first question most people ask. Not a student, need work this month: October 15 at The Grand. It runs a four-hour window and the organizer schedules your recruiter meetings in advance, so you are not just dropping a resume in a bin.
Not a student, want a second swing: October 22 at the Marriott. Free to candidates, one week later, and next door to a workforce center if you need help with the resume first.
Engineering, tech or aerospace student: September 17 at the Pyramid. The evening hours make it survivable if you already have a job.
